Where wine meets history

Our family's story has long been intertwined with Borház Sor. In his youth, our great-grandfather owned a wine press house here, but circumstances eventually forced him to part with it. Thanks to the stories passed down through generations, however, this special place always remained close to our hearts.

In 2024, we were given the opportunity to purchase another traditional wine press house on the very same street. We decided to preserve its character and gradually bring it back to life. The renovation began with the exterior, followed by a complete refurbishment of the interior spaces. During the weekends we spent in Eger, we once again fell in love with the town’s unique charm and the distinctive atmosphere of Borház Sor.

Inspired by these experiences, we decided in the second half of 2026 to open the press house as a guesthouse, allowing our guests to share in the sense of peace, relaxation, and enjoyment that this place has brought us over the years.

This is how Anna Casa Del Vino was born. Today, it welcomes visitors who wish to experience the unique atmosphere of Borház Sor and the warm hospitality of Eger.

This premium guesthouse in Eger was reborn from an authentic wine press house, located halfway between the city center and the Szépasszony Valley (Valley of the Beautiful Woman). The 150 m² property can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. It features an open-plan kitchen and living room, a cozy private wine cellar, two spacious bedrooms, and two modern bathrooms, providing the perfect setting for families and groups of friends. Natural stone elements blend harmoniously with modern comfort.

Guests can enjoy a unique experience in the private wine cellar, where they can immerse themselves in Eger’s famous wine culture and enjoy unforgettable moments. A playground next to the house is ideal for children, while a ping-pong table offers entertainment for all ages.

We have paid special attention to every detail: premium materials, comfortable furniture, calm colors, and clean design ensure full relaxation. Whether it is a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family holiday, everything is provided for a perfect stay.
